Dr. Hernandez grew up in impoverished Cuba and lost a young sibling due to a lack of medical care.  Since that time, he was determined to become a physician and has strived to provide affordable medical care to those in need.

He received his medical degree from Facultad De Medicina (Santiago De Compostela, Spain). His postgraduate training was completed in Baltimore MD.  He is constantly updating his knowledge to include the latest in medical treatments and attends lectures at Harvard Medical School biannually.
